What you are looking at is a non-toxic valve oil. It’s NOT made from petroleum, and doesn’t contain any toxic chemicals. As a matter of fact, it’s 100% plant based...

You Could Be Inhaling Toxins!
We've had the pleasure of meeting many famous musicians. Of these famous musicians we had the opportunity to meet Wayne Bergeron, who was diagnosed with throat cancer.
Wayne thinks what played a part of his throat cancer was partly due to inhaling toxic fumes from your everyday valve oils over a long period of time.
After introducing Wayne to Monster Oil's new line of plant-based oils (that don't cause throat cancer), he grabbed a bottle right away.
That's what we thought when we started this project. In short, it's the best oil we've ever tried. It's a little silly really - sometimes we've gone 2-3 weeks without oiling, and that's with playing every day. It's slick, long-lasting, has no strong odors, and this will be the last oil you'll ever use.

After years of research and development, we’ve produced a non-toxic formula that doesn’t gum up. doesn’t dry out after only days of playing. doesn’t smell. doesn’t stain. and most importantly…doesn’t contain any toxic chemicals!
Non-Toxic (or chemical smells)
Long Lasting (one oiling lasts weeks)
Stain Free (no more odd-colored valves)
Fast (makes your valves extra responsive)
*’Bio-Glide’ is limited to only the EcoPro line of oil

About Monster
We are the hosts of Brass Chats, professional trumpet players, and the cofounders of Monster Oil. Brass Chats is an interview series where we pick the brains of the world's greatest brass players about their music career (along with lots of tips and tricks! (and lots of buffoonery)).
We have played at Carnegie Hall, Preservation Hall, Lincoln Center, the orchestra hall in just about every major American city, presidential inaugurations, all 50 states, more countries than you can shake a stick at, and numerous jazz festivals.
We started Monster Oil in 2014 when we created a line of lubricants that was second to none in the world. We still weren't satisfied though, and worked tirelessly to create an oil that performed better, and was also healthier for our bodies and the environment. The ‘Bio-Glide’ formula was born and now powers the EcoPro lube line.

"What manner of wizardry is this?"
I've been using the Eco Pro Lite on my Taylor Chicago 46 Jazz (Stainless Valves), and on a Blessing with Monel valves since it arrived in the mail. Both valve sets feel great...fast and smooth I've also used the Eco Pro Slide Oil on the first and third slides, and likewise, very slick. In fact, the third valve slide on the Taylor has a bit tighter fit and can be a bit stiff with other slide oils, but is smooth as can be with the Eco Pro Slide oil. What manner of wizardry is this?

"Works Just As Well As The Toxic Stuff"
I got this for my son to use on his trumpet. It works just as well as the synthetic oil he was using before, without the smell. The effects also seem to last longer. With the other oil, his trumpet seemed to need oiling more often.

"Eco Pro jumps up on my list of top oils. Thanks Monster Oil!"
It arrived just in time for a big band gig. I wiped and applied Eco Pro on my Bb (Bach Commercial) and Flugel (Adams Sonic) while I was warming up and practicing in the afternoon. Played the 2 set gig in the eve, and just pulled the horns out this morning to see how they felt.
I'd give the oil and A+ for the initial trial. Smooth and quick with no loss of speed (3+ hours of practicing and performing)
Pros: no odor (I do not like the odor of Monster Oil regular formula - so much so that I won't use it), I like the bottle a lot, smooth quick feel and lasted, so far.
Cons: none that I've noticed yet.
Eco Pro jumps up on my list of top oils. Thanks Monster Oil!

"I'm a Believer!"
I'm not much of a brass player, but I've collected different instruments over the years and learned the basics of how to play them. This trumpet has also been loaned out to a few students that were new to the instrument, so it didn't get the best of care between players.
Let's just say the valves were stuck. They'd go down, but you'd have to pull them back up. Not very useful for playing. So I unpacked the valves and added a few drops of this oil, thinking it couldn't hurt.
I can play this horn again. I mean, I'm not great at it, but the plungers go up and down like they're supposed to. NO sticking.
four minutes of fiddling with this oil on the valves saved my trumpet. I'm a believer!

"Excellent Thin Valve Oil"
I might be a little biased going into this, as Monster has been my preferred brass lubricant brand for a while, but this product did not disappoint! I have a few different horns, all vintage cornets and trumpets, and normally use the high-viscosity valve oil from Monster to ensure my valves are sealing well.
I saw this product and wanted to try a plant based oil. I have found that I can use it for the valves in my 70s cornet and it works great. It's a fast oil and it lasts just like a petroleum base, which I found incredible! If you play a modern horn or already use a standard or light viscosity oil, definitely give this a try!!
The other thing I love this oil for is my slides. I generally put a few drops of valve oil on my slides after greasing them to help things move nice and smooth and quick. Using this nice light oil for that is perfect, way better than the heavier oil. It keeps things moving which is especially great for the third valve slide on my old horns.
TLDR: Monster does it again! This is an excellent product and I LOVE that it's plant based! I highly recommend it for all your lightweight brass instrument oil needs!

"A Great New product That Is Good For You, The Environment, And Your Instrument!"
High Quality Product...Easy To Dispense...Leaves No Odor or Residue!

"Plant based oil actually works really well"
Wife has played trumpet for over 40 years and my kids all play brass instruments now. Bought this oil for my sons trombone and trumpet and euphonium. The old trumpet was getting sticky so we first used it on that. The oil worked great and the keys are no longer sticky. Since it worked on the trumpet so well, he used it on the school euphonium. It turned it into like new. The price is good on this oil too.

"Working Well on My Sons Tuba!"
My son plays the tuba in school. The school (thankfully) provides a tuba -- at the same time, it's a public-school tuba, meaning, it's had a hard life. I've instilled in my son to take care of things, and things that aren't yours, return them better than you got them.
That's meant proper polishing and cleaning of the instrument. The school does not provide oil. Being that I'm a former woodwind player in school, I had to do some research on oil. The first oil I got a couple years ago was your standard low-end oil. As he stuck with the tuba and got better, I wanted to start improving his experience. I was happy to find this oil as I was doing my searches.
We've cleaned up his tuba (which is here at home for the summer) and applied this oil. He's been happy with the responsiveness of the valves. So, in my view, if this oil can keep an old public-school tuba functioning properly (including his one traditionally sticky valve), then this is a decent oil. No complaints.
